Level 1 – Entry Level (2 day Theory and Practical)
Designed for experienced and potential Crew and Watch Managers in local authority Fire and Rescue Services, Police Crime Scene Investigators and Insurance Company specialists.
This course will enable learners to recognise their responsibilities in relation to fire investigation and the need for fire investigation. Learners will gain skills in basic fire and arson investigation using real fire scenarios.
Level 2 – Foundation Course (2 day Theory and Practical)
Designed especially for Practitioners who currently carry out Level 2 Fire Investigations either within local authority Fire and Rescue Services, Police Crime Scene Departments or the Insurance Industry.
This course will enable learners to use their relevant knowledge and skills to complete specific tasks and address straightforward problems during a practical fire scene scenario. Learners will interpret relevant information and report on findings.

Experienced Practitioner Course (1 day practical)
Designed especially for experienced practitioners who work in local authority Fire and Rescue Services, Police Crime Scene Departments and the Insurance Industry.
This bespoke course is designed to refresh and update practitioners investigating at Level 2/3.
This 1 day practical refresher will incorporate a real fire scene where practitioners will use their practical, theoretical and technical understanding of fire investigation and fire behaviour to analyse and evaluate a complex fire scene scenario; they will identify, gather and use relevant information to provide hypothesis and conclusions to incorporate into the production of a final report.
